As Donald Trump looks for pathways through an increasingly tough re-election campaign, he has turned to a familiar issue. At the weekend, he asked places of worship to reopen. Most religious leaders have voluntarily closed their doors during the coronavirus lockdown but new polling shows a small majority of Americans keen to return to the pews.
