Sky News Business journalist Carson Scott has been named as the recipient of this year's United States Media Fellowship, offered by the World Press Institute and the US Studies Centre at the University of Sydney.
Professor Bates Gill, the centre's chief executive, said of Scott: "He is already very talented in his field and the fellowship will provide an invaluable opportunity for him to further enrich his understanding of American institutions and culture, while meeting and working alongside journalists from around the globe.
"We are happy to support this fellowship as it helps us reach our goal of deepening understanding of the United States in Australia."
