The United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney hosted a media call in which our experts discussed the impact of the previous day's decision by an arbitral tribunal in the contentious case between China and the Philippines over the South China Sea.
The Hague's Permanent Court of Arbitration announced a ruling Tuesday (Dutch time) on the Philippine government’s submission regarding China’s activities in the South China Sea. The centre's experts discussed the impact of the decision in China, the United States, Australia, and within maritime Asia.
