Margaret Levi has been nominated for the Harvard Board of Overseers, one of Harvard University's two governing bodies. It is composed of thirty members serving five year terms. Election to select six among the nominees takes place between April 15 and the end of May. Anyone with a Harvard degree is eligible to vote.
Drawing on the diverse experience and expertise of its thirty elected members, the Board of Overseers exerts broad influence over Harvard's strategic directions, provides essential counsel to the University leadership on priorities and plans, has the power of consent to certain actions of the Corporation and directs the visitation process by which a broad array of Harvard schools and departments are periodically reviewed and assessed.
