US Studies Centre Chair in Politics Professor Margaret Levi has been appointed as a consultant to the World Bank Institute (WBI) to help create a political economy practice within its Governance Division.
Her work for the WBI includes the development of training materials and curricula on political economy analysis targeted to internal World Bank staff and academics, think tanks, consultants, and NGOs working on political economy issues in developing and transitioning countries.
She is also commencing her first term as a member of the Advisory Council of the Center for Advanced Study in the Social Sciences (CEACS), which is part of the Instituto Juan March de Estudios e Investigaciones, a research center in Sociology and Political Science based in Madrid.
