In an article about both the positive and negative fallout from US President Donald Trump’s newly imposed tariff on steel imports, The Australian interviewed director of the US Studies Centre’s Trade and Investment program, Dr Stephen Kirchner.
Dr Kirchner said the tariffs could be the prelude to a US move away from the WTO.
