Steve Bannon was the first former member of Donald Trump's inner circle to be subpoenaed by Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating potential ties between Russia and the Trump Presidential campaign.

He has now reportedly cut a deal to be interviewed behind closed doors rather than face a grand jury.
