Stephen Heintz was a visitor at the US Studies Centre in April 2016. Heintz is the President of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and serves on the boards of the EastWest Institute, the Rockefeller Archive Center, and The American Prospect. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Bradford K. Smith visited the US Studies Centre in 2014 and 2016. Smith is President of the Foundation Centre, a leading source of information about philanthropy worldwide. The Centre maintains the most comprehensive database on US and, increasingly, global grantmakers–a robust, accessible knowledge bank for the sector. Prior to this, he was President of the Oak Foundation in Geneva, Switzerland and developed and led the Ford Foundation's Peace and Social Justice Program.
