Ashley Townshend, Director of Foreign Policy and Defence, says it is "quite unlikely" China would agree to an investigation into the origins of the coroavirus outbreak.
Speaking with Bloomberg, he says "the problem for Australia is it isn’t speaking with a unified international voice so that has allowed China to retaliate", adding that China risked damaging it's international reputation should it continue to push back against calls for transparency over the health crisis.
