The American Australian Association hosts black tie Benefit Dinners to recognise prominent individuals who have made significant contributions to business, economic, social and cultural relationships between the United States and Australia. This year was AAA was proud to honour Mr Andrew Liveris, Chairman and CEO of the Dow Chemical Company and Richard Warburton AO LVO, Chairman of Westfield Retail Trust, Magellan Flagship Fund and Citigroup Pty Ltd.
Proceeds from the Benefit Dinner support the Association's Education Fund. To date, more than 150 Fellows have received awards totalling over US$4 million to pursue postgraduate and doctoral studies in critical fields, from key medical research to sustainability, at top institutions such as MIT, Harvard and Princeton.
